In reply to Georgia Williams. Hi Georgia, thank you for your comment. The University does not tolerate this kind of behaviour and treats all incidents of this nature with the highest concern. Our Security Team and SUSU are aware of the stickers you referred to and have been proactively looking for the stickers and - if found - they are taken down immediately. Does this support for the LGBT+ community translate into a proactive approach to handling the dissemination of transphobic materials on Highfield Campus? Myself and several others have found transphobic and Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist stickers placed both outside in public parts of the campus and inside places like the gym bathrooms- and i am aware that this matter has previously been raised with the university. I’m hoping the university is concerned in addressing this matter as a means of avoiding these materials inciting this kind of queerphobic behaviour in future.
