Hopefully, it will encourage those who give Chinese students British names, as their names are difficult to pronounce as the claim goes, to try learning a new language and appreciate the complexity of doing that.

I found it highly interesting and rewarding to learn how to say the names of my Chinese students on the pre-sessional EAP course from 25th June t0 12th Sep 2019 at the University of Southampton.

I wish I could attend the course.
