Sustainable Energy Group Fellow, Phil Wu, is celebrating winning a prestigious Enterprise Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng). The success will enable him to turn his ground-breaking research in solar panel deployment into a world-changing company.

Beating competition from almost 100 other applicants from academic institutions across the UK, Phil was one of only a handful of recipients of the RAEng Enterprise Fellowship, which provides him with 拢60,000 equity-free funding, a tailored training programme and a mentor from the RAEng.
“I鈥檓 really excited to receive this Enterprise Fellowship, where my research can be hatched into a tangible contribution to help our society become greener and more sustainable,” said Phil.
