The Stefan Cross Centre for Women, Equality and Law is delighted to invite you to attend their 2nd Annual Lecture.

This year’s lecture, entitled “Class, Sex and the Law”, will be delivered by leading barrister Karon Monaghan QC.
A member of Matrix Chambers, Karon practices in equality and human rights law. She was called to the Bar in 1989 and appointed to Silk in 2008. Karon has appeared in numerous cases at appellate level, including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and the Court of Justice of the European Union. She has also acted for and advised individuals, regulatory and other bodies in public inquiries and investigations, including the Infected Blood Inquiry and the Grenfell Tower Inquiry.
The event takes place on Thursday 19 March at 18:30 in the Murray Lecture Theatre, Building 58 on Highfield Campus.
