SOTSEF 2020 is back with a fresh digital twist as 鈥楽OTSEF Goes Digital鈥�.
SOTSEF 2020 exhibitors, staff and postgraduate researchers with new ideas or fresh content聽are invited to register their interest to take part in the聽digital takeover of 聽(SOTSEF). The Festival is organised by the聽Public Engagement with Research unit听(笔贰搁耻).
In March, SOTSEF and Southampton Science and Engineering Day 2020 were postponed due to the increasing threat posed by COVID-19.
SOTSEF Goes Digital will run from Friday 22 May until Saturday 25 July 2020.
Exhibitors registered for SOTSEF 2020 will receive a request for submission directly to their inbox, but new online event submissions must be requested through the official Festival team鈥檚 email at festival@soton.ac.uk.
SOTSEF Goes Digital will include a variety of different activities, from downloadable resources, virtual tours, talks, podcasts and blogs to live debates, performances and Q&A sessions, to citizen science projects. The programme will be released gradually throughout the weeks of the festival.
