The has revealed that our university has done well in a number of subject areas, with Southampton ranked number one for Physiotherapy for a second successive year.
The University is also ranked in the top five for Aural & Oral Sciences (2nd), Occupational Therapy (2nd), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (4th) and Music (5th).
A further 10 subjects make the top 10, including Nursing (6th), Civil Engineering (6th), Marketing (7th), Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering (7th), Anatomy & Physiology (7th), French (8th), Iberian Languages (8th), German (8th), Geology (10th), and Mechanical Engineering (10th).
Southampton placed 17th in this year鈥檚 Complete University Guide 鈥� a rise of three places on last year鈥檚 ranking.
Yesterday, it was also revealed that the University had recorded its highest ever placing in the annual , rising six places to 119 this year out of 2,000 global institutions listed.
