On Thursday 30 July, the University announced听a suite of voluntary cost saving measures for staff, including a which is now open for applications.听
The measures are听one aspect of a wider, strategic approach to our recovery from the expected impact of COVID-19.
The voluntary measures include:
- A Voluntary Severance (VS) scheme open from听Monday 3 August 2020 until听Sunday 20 September 2020.
and the following measures which are all effective from 1 October and for which听further information will be available in September:
- The opportunity for听reduced working hours听for a limited period
- The opportunity for听buying additional holiday听for a limited period
- The opportunity to take unpaid听career breaks听for a limited period
- And a reminder that we already have an听existing听opportunity to apply for听flexible retirement.
