Undergraduate students: earn yourself an Amazon voucher
The University鈥檚 Communications and Marketing team is looking for Undergraduate students to be photographed for the 2023 undergraduate prospectus. The team will be taking photos that illustrate both the academic and social aspects of university life. We are also looking for student who live in university student accommodation and members of SUSU clubs/societies. We are looking for a groups of students (up to 6) in a 鈥渂ubble鈥� or individuals willing to take part.
You will need to be available for a maximum of one hour on one or two of these dates:
- Thursday 21 October
- Wednesday 27 October
- Thursday 4 November
- Thursday 11 November
For volunteering you will receive 拢10.00 per half an hour in Amazon vouchers, dependent on how long the shoot takes as a thank you. Travel to any off-campus locations will be subsidized.

Become a case study for the University鈥檚 undergraduate prospectus
Are you doing something particularly interesting or unusual on your undergraduate course? Are you experiencing a new hobby,聽receiving聽a scholarship, enjoying student life or doing something you鈥檇 like to share?
We鈥檙e looking for students willing to be case studies in our next undergraduate prospectus.
If you鈥檇 like to take part, we鈥檇 like to hear from you!
Please email the following information to the Corporate Communications Marketing team at聽corporatepublications@southampton.ac.uk with:
- Your name
- Your email address
- What course you are studying, and your year of study聽as of September 2021
- A brief explanation of your experiences at Southampton. This could include: anything you’ve particularly enjoyed about studying at/living in Southampton; placements or internships you鈥檝e undertaken; achievements you’re particularly proud of; any research or collaborations you鈥檇 like to share; or聽stories about being part of our community.
You will need to be available to have your photo taken and answer some further questions about your course and time at the University of Southampton.
All photography will be Covid-secure.
A member of the team will be in contact if we would like to use your story in our prospectus.
