We are aware that听a phishing email听has been sent听to a number of staff and students at our University.听听
- The email has the subject line “Completion statement” and mentions “Citrix Encrypted Email Service Soton”.听
- The email听mentions听an overdue invoice and听includes听a link听with the title听鈥淰iew Encrypted Message鈥�.听听
- The email听may appear as though it听has听been sent听from your own account or another University听of Southampton听account.听听
The email is not from the University and you should not click the link.听听
If you have received this email, please report the message as Phishing in Outlook. You can do this by right clicking on the email, selecting 鈥楽ecurity options鈥� and then selecting 鈥楶hishing鈥�. You can find further detail on how to report an email on the iSolutions IT Knowledge Base:
