The government has announced changes to COVID-19 guidelines in England.听听
From today听(7 January):听
- Anyone arriving in England who is fully vaccinated will no longer need to quarantine on arrival. If you arrive before 4am on 9 January, you will still be required to take a PCR test on or before Day 2 after you arrive. If you arrive after 4am 9 January, you may take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) instead of a PCR. For further information on the听

- If you receive a positive听Lateral听Flow听Test for听COVID-19 you听will be required to self-isolate immediately and will no longer听be required to take a confirmatory PCR test.听

The guidance for anyone who develops the听听has not changed –听you should stay at home,听self-isolate and take a鈥�PCR鈥痶est. You must self-isolate if you get a positive test result.听听
Students who are required to self-isolate should complete the听, after which they receive a wellbeing call from听University staff听who can help students understand the support available, from academic support to access to food/drink.听
Staff who have tested positive for COVID-19 or are required to self-isolate should complete the听听听
