The government has announced changes to COVID-19 guidelines in England.ÌýÌý

- Anyone arriving in England who is fully vaccinated will no longer need to quarantine on arrival. If you arrive before 4am on 9 January, you will still be required to take a PCR test on or before Day 2 after you arrive. If you arrive after 4am 9 January, you may take a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) instead of a PCR. For further information on theÌý

- If you receive a positiveÌýLateralÌýFlowÌýTest forÌýCOVID-19 youÌýwill be required to self-isolate immediately and will no longerÌýbe required to take a confirmatory PCR test.Ìý

The guidance for anyone who develops theÌýÌýhas not changed –Ìýyou should stay at home,Ìýself-isolate and take a PCR test. You must self-isolate if you get a positive test result.ÌýÌý
Students who are required to self-isolate should complete theÌý, after which they receive a wellbeing call fromÌýUniversity staffÌýwho can help students understand the support available, from academic support to access to food/drink.Ìý
Staff who have tested positive for COVID-19 or are required to self-isolate should complete theÌýÌýÌý
