As Semester Two has begun, we want to remind you of some practical guidance to maintain your health and wellbeing.

Register with a local doctor Ìý
We encourage all our students, UK and international, to register with a local doctor (also known as a ‘GP’ – General Practitioner). Your doctor can support you with both your mental and physical health.ÌýÌý
The quickest and easiest way to register is online,Ìýwhich you can doÌýÌýand .ÌýÌý
If you are based in Winchester or another location, you can also find your local GP using your postcode on theÌýÌýÌý
Remember to bring along details of your medical history and any medications you are using, as well as photographic ID.ÌýÌý
International students
Please remember to bring a letter from the University of Southampton as proof that you are a student, along with your passport and any loose immigration documents. You should ask to be added to the list of National Health Service (NHS) patients. This means you will not have to pay a fee to visit the doctor.ÌýÌý
