The 鈥� programme is back for 2022 鈥� a fantastic opportunity for鈥�UK undergraduate STEM students to take part in a four-week online training programme in June and July 2022.听听
During the virtual programme, participants will have access to three weeks of bespoke live content, covering a wide range of topics including:听
- Innovation in the UK听
- Entrepreneurship in China听
- The roles of 5G in transforming business models听
- The role technology is playing in tackling climate change.听听
The programme will culminate with eight days of activities led by Huawei HQ in Shenzhen, where students will have a chance to meet participants from other countries, and hear more about how Huawei operates as a global ICT business.
You will also benefit from technical training from some of the finest professionals in the industry and have access to virtual tours of Huawei鈥檚 state-of-the-art facilities in China.
Raphael Toner, third year Physics student at UoS, took part in the programme last summer and said:

Brand new for 2022 – Huawei Scholarship
Of the 50 students across the UK who will be recruited for the programme, the 10 highest performing participants will be awarded a Huawei Scholarship and receive a package of exclusive benefits. Further details will be confirmed.听
听How to apply
听To be considered for the 2022 programme, you will need to:
- Be a UK national听
- Be an undergraduate student studying a STEM or related discipline at a UK university听
- Possess excellent academic acumen 鈥� ideally with a strong interest in China and in Huawei as well as technology and sustainability issues.
