Disability Safe Listening Space

Following the success of the first University Disability Safe Listening Space, the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Team and the UoS Disability Staff Network will be holding further Safe Listening Spaces throughout 2022. Specific sessions will be facilitated for those who identify as disabled or differently abled as well as a session open to all staff.

Safe Listening Spaces provide an opportunity for judgement free discussion around disability. These sessions will be held via Teams to ensure those who are vulnerable to COVID-19 feel able to participate safely. Due to the sensitivity of discussion these sessions will not be recorded to protect attendee confidentiality.
