Do not get caught out
While essay mills are now banned in the UK, companies continue to offer their services disguised as assessment help or writing support, often by direct messages on social media. Stand with us against all forms of contract cheating, and do not be tempted to take up such services. Professor Deborah Gill, Vice-President (Education), has added her support to the day, saying:
鈥淲e are extremely proud of the work put in by our students during their time with us, but contract cheating threatens to undermine these efforts. The pandemic prompted a significant increase in activity by essay mills, and we are pleased that recent legislation has now outlawed their activities. The University continues to invest in supporting our students to maintain good academic practice, and in tools to help us to detect cases.鈥�
