David Winstanley has been appointed as the new Executive Director Student Life.
David will take leadership responsibility for enhancing student inclusion and wellbeing, developing inclusive student communities across our campuses, and helping our students fulfil their potential and go on to their chosen career path when they leave our university. His expertise will improve student experience from their first enquiry through to graduation and beyond.
David moves into this new role from his position as the University鈥檚 Director of 福利着片 Recruitment and Admissions.
David said: 鈥淚鈥檓 delighted to have been appointed to the Executive Director Student Life role and look forward to working with colleagues across the university to ensure we deliver an inclusive student experience that attracts the best students and that enables them to thrive 鈥� whilst they鈥檙e here at Southampton but also into their future careers. Through our Strategic Plans we鈥檝e articulated some ambitious goals in this space and I鈥檓 excited about bringing the teams together to deliver them!鈥�
