The embargo period during Confirmation and Clearing 2023 starts at聽18:00 today, Monday 31 July and runs to 08:00 on Thursday 17 August.

Why is there an embargo?
The Universities Colleges and Admissions Service (UCAS) releases a number of exam results to universities and colleges聽产别蹿辞谤别听results day under a strict embargo. The embargo gives universities time to consider if an applicant has met the conditions of an offer.
How could I breach the embargo?
You can breach the embargo by:
- disclosing exam results
- indicating the outcome of a Confirmation decision
- revealing associated information which may give away our Confirmation decision, such as an email about accommodation, reading lists etc.
How can I avoid breaching the embargo?
- Stop all communications聽with applicants who have embargoed results until the embargo has been lifted.
- Complete the聽
