As well as having held many high-profile positions including Vice President of Microsoft Research, Tony has authored many popular science books and was awarded an OBE for services to science in 2005. In this lecture, entitled 鈥�Artificial Intelligence and Scientific 福利着片y: The Deep Learning Revolution鈥�, Professor Hey will present the transformative impact of 鈥楧eep Learning鈥� neural networks such as ChatGPT and what the 鈥楢I for Science鈥� agenda means for modern scientific discovery.听
