Sikorska, the Operations Manager in the School of Electronics and Computer Science, who is organising the event remarks: 鈥淚 didn鈥檛 anticipate the event鈥檚 popularity among staff and students when I first initiated it in 2018. Each year, it surpasses expectations. It鈥檚 crucial to showcase solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community and stand against any form of discrimination. By commemorating IDAHOBIT at Southampton, we advocate for equality and dignity for all members of our community, fostering an environment where individuals can live without fear of oppression based on their sexual orientation or gender identity鈥�.听听
