Whether you are still studying, working over the summer, writing your postgraduate dissertation, or have summer plans in the area, we know many of you might be staying in Southampton for at least part of the summer break. With the end of the academic year approaching, we have compiled information about support, available services and facilities, and events you can attend during this time.

The Student Hub – here for you 24/7
Don’t forget that The Student Hub is here to help regardless of the time of year – if you have any issues or need support during this summer, you can speak to an advisor instantly, 24 hours a day, via the , call us at any hour on 02380 599 599, or contact us by email.
You can also drop in to speak to an advisor in person at The Student Hub in B37 on Highfield Campus between 08:00-20:00. In-person Student Hub locations at Avenue, WSA, and SJM are now closed for the summer. They will reopen in Semester One 2024/25.
Studying on campus this summer
The Hartley, Winchester School of Art, National Oceanographic and Health Services libraries will be open throughout the summer for anyone in need of study spaces and resources. Make sure you .

Southampton Sport
Jubilee Sport Centre, Mayflower Gym, Wide Lane and the Watersports Centre will all be available this summer. Check the Southampton Sport website for full opening hours of their facilities.
Faith and Reflection Centre
The Faith and Reflection Centre will be closed from Saturday 15 June until Friday 20 September.
