As part of the ongoing works surrounding the Faraday Building, we must undertake an emergency water shut off on Saturday 20 July between the hours of 7:00Ìý²¹²Ô»å 18:00.
The affected buildings will be:ÌýÌý
- Building 5, 7, 9 & 13 Ìý
- Building 8 Woods LaboratoryÌý
- Building 17Ìý
- Building 20 Ìý
- Building 36 Ìý
The outage will result in the loss of water to all toilets, taps and canteen facilities within these buildings and as a result will render them unable to be used as normal.Ìý The facilities may remain open, but any water usage will not be possible and alternate toilet facilities will have to be used in nearby unaffected buildings.Ìý
The water outage is necessary to facilitate the critical infrastructure upgrades. Colleagues within the buildings have already been notified.ÌýÌý

All water systems will be safe and fully functional after 18:00 on 20 July.Ìý
