Introduction to doctoral supervision e-learning courseÌý

The updated Introduction to doctoral supervision e-learning course is now available on .ÌýÌý This course, taking approximately 1 hour to complete, is aimed at those new to doctoral supervision or new to Southampton, but open to all staff.Ìý

By the end of this e-learning course you should be able to:ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý

  • Understand and apply the roles and responsibilities associated with being a doctoral supervisor.Ìý
  • Apply the regulations and procedures that support doctoral study.Ìý
  • Recognise that expectations may differ between the postgraduate researcher and the supervisory team and be aware of tools to set and manage expectations.Ìý
  • ¸£Àû×ÅÆ¬ and apply resources and further development opportunities to support you and the PGR to succeed.ÌýÌý
