is the University of Southampton’s annual celebration of Humanities and the Arts.

The festival returns this November with a brand-new look and an extended programme full of interactive events exploring some of the University of Southampton’s research projects, and how the arts and humanities shape our communities.
Running from Thursday 7 to Saturday 16 November, the programme includes events from venues across Southampton and beyond, including John Hansard Gallery, Turner Sims Southampton, and many more!
Some of the events taking place at this year’s festival include:

The festival also features the popular , a free family-friendly event packed with an exciting programme of activities, workshops, talks and exhibits.
This year Arts and Humanities Day (formerly Hands-on Humanities Day) takes place on Saturday 9 November at Southampton Cultural Quarter.
This event is in collaboration with the University of Southampton’s branch of the , John Hansard Gallery, MAST Mayflower Studios and Southampton City Art Gallery.
