During the week commencing 9 December 2024, colleagues and the University of Sanctuary are marking this anniversary in a variety of ways:

- The Parkes Institute are presenting a talk entitled “Jewish Life after Stalin”, with guest speaker Gennady EstraikhÌý´Ç²Ô Tuesday 10 December – .Ìý
- – a two-concert tribute to those forced to leave their homeland, often with sorrow. In this context, music takes on a profound meaning: healing, uniting, rooting, and building community.
