As part of the , all Semester 2 modules for Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 will be delivered on the new Blackboard Ultra platform.

Please remember to update all applicable courses before teaching starts in Semester 2 (Monday 27 January 2025) as there is no automatic rollover for the first-time migration of a module and you’ll need to manually transfer content.
This migration process presents an opportunity to develop your module design with support from the Ultra Project team as well as time to enhance the student learning experience by making the most of the new features on Ultra.

The offers training sessions covering a variety of topics to support your teaching needs. If you haven’t attended these sessions yet, we strongly encourage those migrating Semester 2 module content for Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 to participate. .
Alongside the Staff Development Programme, the project team has developed a including a offering a quick start guide on creating modules and an insight into the key features within Ultra. You can also try the Ultra Escape Room where you navigate through Ultra from a student perspective and become familiar with the platform by solving puzzles and locating information.
On Thursday 30 January, staff can join an between 10:00 – 16:00 to connect with our expert staff who can support your teaching needs, whether it’s technical, pedagogical or any other queries.
