In September, we informed colleagues of the first stage in the implementation of the 2024/25 pay award. We are now reminding colleagues of the second stage of the implementation, taking place this month (March).

The pay outcome provided for overall increases of between 2.5% and 5.3% to the spinal points we use at Southampton.
With effect from 1 March 2025, further uplifts will apply on top of increases which took place with effect from 1 August 2024 and backdated in the September payroll. Full-time equivalent values of spine points 10 to 22 will increase by a further £300, spine points 23 to 37 will increase by a further £250, and spine points 38 and upwards will receive a sum, variable by pay point, which results in an overall uplift of 2.5% when the two stages of the award are combined.
