The 23rd annual Festival of Social Science (FOSS) will be returning 18 October to 8 November 2025. This is the seventh year the University of Southampton has participated, and applications to express your interest in running an event at FOSS 2025 are now open.
We are pleased to announce that, for another year, Bournemouth University and the University of Southampton will be collaborating to run an extended programme of events, broadening our impact reach and expanding our networks across Dorset and Hampshire.
We are particularly keen to hear from researchers who have already established collaborations with Bournemouth colleagues and may wish to run a joint event.
Key information:
- The main theme for this year鈥檚 festival is 鈥極ur Working Lives鈥�.
- Events are not limited to the festival theme and can be on any economics/social sciences topic likely to be of interest to the target audiences for which they are designed.
- Applications for sponsorship of up to 拢1,000 per event can be made.
