We鈥檙e pleased to share the news that teaching starts today for our first fully-online, Master鈥檚 Programmes in Artificial Intelligence and Management, launched as part of the Southampton Online Strategic Major Project.
This is an exciting milestone for the University, marking our commitment to flexible and accessible learning while further diversifying and growing our student community.
The first students studying on one of our six new postgraduate Programmes will begin their learning with us today, following the hard work of colleagues across the University to develop these Programmes, as well as the promotion and support that sits around them.
Professor Deborah Gill, Vice-President (Education and Student Experience) said:
鈥淭hese new online Programmes offer students around the world a flexible approach to learning with us, with the ability to fit their studies around work and other commitments, without the need for travel or relocation.
The hard work of our colleagues at the University and our partners at Cambridge Education Group (Digital) has allowed us to ensure that these online Programmes reflect the high standards and quality teaching we offer on campus and an exceptional experience for all our students. We are already working hard to develop our next suite of Programmes from Winchester School of Art (WSA) and the School of Psychology, ready for even more online students to join us in 2026.鈥�
