The Procurement and Contract Management Team is pleased to share that the University鈥檚 new procurement policy and process are now live.

As part of the ongoing procurement transformation, updates include:听听
- A refresh of our Procurement policy (鈥)听听
- A streamlined, purchaser-led process for low-risk, low-complexity procurements听
- The implementation of a new ServiceNow procurement portal 鈥 a single point of access for raising and tracking procurement requests falling outside self-serve routes听

What this means for you if you purchase goods and services for the University.
If you’re a regular purchaser or submit requests occasionally, these changes are designed to:听
- Empower and drive autonomy 鈥 you will be able to complete procurement activity with greater autonomy for low value, low complexity procurements 听
- Reduce processing time 鈥 you will benefit from streamlined workflows for low-complexity, low-risk procurements听
- Enhance visibility and collaboration 鈥 through ServiceNow, you will be able to track requests and engage with the procurement team more easily on strategic, high risk and high value activities 听
In addition to the existing self-service catalogue, you can now use to initiate procurement requests that fall outside self-serve routes and track progress in real time. Budget holders will be automatically notified when approval is required, helping to keep things moving. More details on self-serve routes are available , and you can also reach out to the procurement team if you have any question.听
