The is a great way to get around—it connects University of Southampton students with the city by linking our campuses and halls sites to various places in Southampton.

Travelling from Winchester
If you’re living in Winchester or studying at the Winchester School of Art (WSA), the , which operates during term time, ensures you can stay connected with Highfield Campus.
The route will take you between Highfield bus interchange, Winchester School of Art, and Winchester Broadway.

SUSU Safety Bus
The SUSU Safety Bus is a free service to help make sure you get home from SUSU venues on campus safely.
It operates outside every single night, running every hour, on the hour—from 20:00 until an hour after the last SUSU venue closes.
The service will drop you straight to your door—even if you live in Winchester.

Cycling
If you cycle, here are a few things you can do to have a safe journey and to keep your bike secure:
- Ensure that you have lights, high visibility clothing, and a cycle helmet. You can buy these from the , located above the SUSU shop on University Road.
- Register your bike w¾±³Ù³ó , a national Police approved database that can help you if your bike is stolen.
- Take a photo of your bike. Record its make, model, colour, frame number (located underneath the frame, between the pedals) and any other unique features.
- Use two, good quality bike locks, and at least one robust D-lock when locking your bike. Approved D-locks are available at the .
- Insure your bike or check that your contents’ insurance also covers your bike.
- Use our cycle stores or lock your bike to the hoops at halls and on campus. To use the stores, register your ID card at the . Registration for halls cycle storage is free for halls residents.
- Keep your bike in good condition, so it is safe to use. The Bike Doctor provides free repairs and checks. The team can be found outside the —keep an eye on  for upcoming dates.
