Help us create a safer university community

WhetherÌýyou’reÌýnew to Southampton or returning, we want your time here to be positive and safe. Sometimes, situations can arise that make people feel uncomfortable —Ìýthat’sÌýwhy we all need to look out for one another.Ìý

To support an inclusive and respectful community, all students must complete two onlineÌýmandatoryÌýtraining modulesÌýas soon as possible:Ìý

  • Ìý– learn about sexual consent, healthy boundaries, and respectful relationships.Ìý
  • Ìý– discover how to safely challenge harmful behaviour.Ìý

These modules aren’t just about knowledge — they help us build a culture of care and respect. To find out more, watch this short video from our Director of Student Support, Helen Rowland.Ìý
