Principles relating to Programme Documentation

  1. Programmes should have a programme name aligned to the Degree Nomenclature requirements detailed in the Quality Handbook.
  2. Modules should have a module profile.
  3. Modules should be updated in line with School procedures, based on feedback from stakeholders.

Guidance

There is aÌýsingle source of information about taught programmes and modules.Ìý This is theÌýCurriculum Manager System (often also called Worktribe or CRUMS).

All academic staff involved in the writing of or management of modules and/or programmes should enter/update information in this system.

Programmes

All programmes require a Webpage, Course Description Document (CDD) and Programme Specification.ÌýÌýThese are downloaded from information entered in to the Curriculum Manager system.

All modules require a module profile.Ìý These are populated by data from CRUMS.Ìý

Access and Training

Access to the system can be obtained via Serviceline.Ìý Once you access the system, the workflow will ensure that you complete the required fields at the appropriate time.
