The University is proud to be running several events to celebrate LGBT History Month throughout February鈥� to raise awareness of past and present issues faced by LGBT people. A one鈥揹ay workshop by the History department鈥� a series of talks from the Staff LGBT Network鈥� and film screenings and awareness events from the SUSU LGBT Society form a comprehensive events programme.
Also, we encourage staff and students alike to visit Southampton Solent University to see a free programme of prolific LGBT films throughout the month, and to visit the Bargate Monument Museum for a community-driven exhibition of LGBT stories, memories and possessions.
