Robert Wayman,听Development Manager in the office of Development and Alumni Relations, has been nominated and selected as the winner of the CASE Europe Iain More Award 2015.
and the听award recognises the outstanding achievements of an emerging fundraising professional. The award is in recognition of Iain More, one of Europe鈥檚 leading fundraisers.
This award recognises the following contributions from an individual:
- 听Measurable evidence of excellence, innovation, impact and integrity in fundraising
- Commitment to the profession through sharing good practice with peers, seeking volunteer opportunities in the profession
- Particular achievements in their career, and a track record of consistent performance
Describing why Robert听had been selected, John Middleton, Executive Director, CASE Europe said:
Robert鈥檚听proven fundraising success, establishment of the UK鈥檚 first Special Gifts Network, and willingness to share his knowledge and support his听colleagues and the wider sector, all contributed to his successful nomination.
This recognition of Robert and his achievements comes at a positive time for the University and our philanthropic and engagement activity.
This year sees the formal launch of the University鈥檚 拢25m which has already resulted in six times the number of听 new donors to the University听and a significant increase in income of 拢6m year-to-date, compared to 拢3.7m last year.
Robert will be presented with his听award at the CASE Annual Conference later this summer.
