In anticipation of this year’s Education, Research and Enterprise (ERE) Staff Promotions and In-Level Transfer Review,Ìýthe UniversityÌýwould like to raise awareness of the process and encourage applications from across all the different pathways.ÌýWith this in mind,Ìýtwo open sessionÌýare being offered to all ERE staff from Level 4 and above who are considering promotion.

The sessions will be hosted by a University Vice-President, andÌýare a good opportunity to understand more about the changes in this year’s process, the University career pathways and assessment criteria, and how to prepare an application.
As monitoring data shows that women have been less likely than men to make applications for promotion,Ìýthe UniversityÌýwould particularly encourage women to attend, however, the session is open to all people who might be considering applying for promotion.
There will be two sessions followed by a Q&A session,* as follows:
Highfield Campus: Monday 3 October, 14:30 – 16:00, Building 27, Room 2001.
ÌýSouthampton General Hospital: Thursday 6 October, 11:15 – 12:30, Room AB59.
