In anticipation of this year鈥檚 Education, Research and Enterprise (ERE) Staff Promotions and In-Level Transfer Review,听the University听would like to raise awareness of the process and encourage applications from across all the different pathways.听With this in mind,听two open session听are being offered to all ERE staff from Level 4 and above who are considering promotion.
The sessions will be hosted by a University Vice-President, and听are a good opportunity to understand more about the changes in this year鈥檚 process, the University career pathways and assessment criteria, and how to prepare an application.
As monitoring data shows that women have been less likely than men to make applications for promotion,听the University听would particularly encourage women to attend, however, the session is open to all people who might be considering applying for promotion.
There will be two sessions followed by a Q&A session,* as follows:
Highfield Campus: Monday 3 October, 14:30 – 16:00, Building 27, Room 2001.
听Southampton General Hospital: Thursday 6 October, 11:15 – 12:30, Room AB59.

*Please note that the presentation will be filmed and the audio of the Q&A session recorded. This will be made available on the for members of staff unable to attend the event.
