New procedure for booking all international air travel

As of 1 October 2017, all international air travel should be booked through the University’s new Travel Management Company, Clarity.

All staff have a profile already set up in the system which just requires completion. Not everyone will have permission to book travel, but it’s still important to complete your profile if other colleagues book travel on your behalf, or if you plan to book travel using Clarity’s offline service.

Using the new TMC will help the University meet its duty of care to staff and postgraduate research students who are travelling overseas. Safety and well-being of University staff and students is very important, and being able to accurately and quickly source information as to where people are in case there is a problem or emergency, is essential. Using Clarity will provide this information, as well as access to support services mid journey should they require it.
