We鈥檙e running聽24 hours of events聽in June to聽celebrate biodiversity on and around our campuses.
Join us for聽ecology seminars, bat walks,聽a聽midnight聽moth capturing聽session,聽a聽breaking dawn聽birdsong chorus stroll and this year鈥檚聽main聽BioBlitz聽survey.
These free聽events will run from聽19:00 on Friday 7 June 耻苍迟颈濒听19:00 Saturday 8 June. All of the sessions are open to students, staff, families and members of the community, but numbers are limited.

A BioBlitz is a race against the clock to find and record as many animals and plants聽as possible. You鈥檒l work as a team and be allocated a plot on Highfield Campus or on Southampton Common. Not an expert? Don鈥檛 worry. Staff from will be on hand to help. Everything you find will be documented by them, as well as by the .
