All staff accessing our campuses and facilities over the summer period are still expected to test weekly. Please continue to test even if you have been vaccinated and even if you don’t have symptoms at the time – this is vital to mitigating the spread of COVID in our community.

There are currently two methods of asymptomatic testing available for staff. Details about both testing methods follow below and more information is on the UoS website.
Saliva testing
If you already registered for saliva testing, you can continue to use this method. You will continue to receive weekly texts and emails with details about how and when to next take a test.

Swab testing
Community-based swab testing (Lateral Flow or LFD testing) is also available.
Details of where to collect test-at-home kits is on our website. It is very important that, when testing at home, results are reported online to whether positive, negative or void. Reporting results helps the NHS monitor the spread of the virus.
