Parents and Carers Network – talk on cybercrime
鈥淭op Tips on how to prevent the most common types of cybercrime鈥
Wednesday 15 September 12:00-13:00 via Teams
Cybercrime accounts for half of all crime. Victims are usually chosen because of something outside of their control, such as leaked passwords or personal information. Large networks of computers and programs, designed specifically to carry out cybercrime undertake the rest of the hacking process. Fortunately, these processes can be disrupted and stopped by following some basic Cyber Security guidance. This presentation from James Adnitt from Hampshire Police鈥檚 National Cyber Security Centre will cover the Nation Cyber Security Centre鈥檚 6 Top Tips and how they prevent the most common types of cybercrime.
