Southampton Business School moves in to Building 175 on Boldrewood Campus

Following a period of internal refurbishment works Southampton Business School has relocated to Building 175 on Boldrewood Campus, formerly occupied by Lloyd’s Register.

The newly refurbished building benefits from modern amenities, spacious interactive and collaborative workspaces, a combination of open space and shared offices, ensuring an unparalleled new academic experience for staff and students.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new home at the heart of the University’s Boldrewood Innovation Campus” said Professor Laura Costanzo, Head of Southampton Business School. “This move represents a culmination of extensive planning and investment, and we are confident that the enhanced facilities will set Southampton Business School on a renewed learning journey which will benefit our academics and students and facilitate groundbreaking research, co-creation and knowledge exchange initiatives.”

The newly refurbished space will provide Southampton Business School with top quality facilities and space to fully engage with all the relevant stakeholders: students, world class scholars, University colleagues from different disciplines, entrepreneurs, and leaders of businesses and civic organisations.

In doing so the Business School will be able to fully execute the University of Southampton’s Triple Helix model that supports the University’s aspiration to create societal impact in the local community and wider international context.

The University is currently assessing the future use of Building 2 on Highfield Campus, as part of the wider Estates Strategic Plan.
