For all University researchers who are looking to showcaseÌýtheir projects on future Roadshows
'Bringing Research to Life Roadshow' is our itinerant platform designed to help researchers develop effective ways of sharing their work with the public.
The Roadshow tours both regional and national events between May and September each year and visits a wide variety of events, from community celebrations to country and music festivals. Currently the Roadshow is focusing on smaller, local events with a strong community focus.
In past years, we worked with research groups from across the University of Southampton and reached 20,000 people on average.

The current overall aims of the Roadshow are :
- To connect with new groups/groups facing specific barriers.
- To provide a platform for researchers to interact with public groups
- To build partnerships with wider sector.
- To enable involvement and new voices/perspectives in research.
2025 Roadshow Tour
This summer 2025, we are planning to bring the UoS Roadshow to the following events:
- | Saturday 12th July | Led by the Public and Community Engagement Hubs
- | Tuesday 29th July - ThursdayÌý31st July
- | Saturday 23rdÌýand Sunday 24th August
