About the Biomedical spatial biology facility

We have built a spatial biology platform, where we aim to host a suite of equipment and corresponding expertise to enable our researchers to carry out cutting edge work on medically relevant challenges.

We provide advice on and support experimental design, sample preparation and data analysis.

Nanostring CosMx

  • Spatial molecular imaging
  • High plex in-situ analysis
  • RNA and protein analysis
  • Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and fresh frozen (FF) tissue samples
     

Nanostring GeoMx

  • Digital spatial profiling
  • Non-destructive profiling of RNA and protein expression from distinct tissue compartments and cell populations
  • Spatially profile the whole transcriptome and 570+ protein targets
  • Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and fresh frozen (FF) tissue samples
  • Integrates with standard histology staining
     

AtomX

  • Spatial informatics platform
  • Cloud-based, fully-integrated informatics platform
  • Analysis and visualisation of spatial multiomics data using NanoString-configured analysis modules and pipelines
  • Custom analysis modules and pipelines can be created and executed
