I have spent much of my nursing career working in cancer care, and as a consequence I became a good generalist in palliative and end of life care. I passionately believe that all nurses should be able to deliver excellent, generalist palliative care.
I also believe in the power of education, as Nelson Mandela says- "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world", so nurse education is the weapon we can use to ensure high quality, compassionate patient care.
I have led programmes and modules related to cancer, palliative and end of life care, including the MSc Clinical Leadership in Cancer, Palliative and End of Life care, pre and post registration modules. Please note, I am not accepting applications from PhD students.
