Apply for your student ID card

Once you've set up your University IT account and enrolled, you can order your student ID card. It can take up to 24 hours after setting up your IT account for the University’s other systems and services to become available to you. This includes your email, ID card service and enrolment services.

Your student ID card will give you access to facilities on campus including libraries and faculty buildings. It will be valid until the end of your studies. You should carry your ID card with you whenever you’re on campus.

What you’ll need

To apply for your student ID card, you'll need to use your University IT account details and you must be enrolled.

You’ll need to upload a to your application.  If you do not upload an appropriate photo, there may be a delay to the processing and collection of your ID card. You'll also be charged £10 for a replacement ID card with a suitable photo.

We’ll email you with further details when your student ID card is ready to collect – this will include a link to book your collection appointment.
