Teaching
Mark primarily teaches on the MSc programme within the School of Medicine. This course centres on multidisciplinary student teams developing prototype healthcare solutions. His specialist focus is on engineering and design, and he also delivers lectures on the critical assessment of evidence.
IIn addition, he teaches on the Fundamentals of Auditory Implants module within the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research. He has supervised a wide range of research projects with Audiology BSc and MSc students, covering topics such as haptic stimulation for hearing enhancement, auditory training, and high-frequency hearing.
He also supervises PhD students on projects involving haptic approaches to hearing, technology development, digital signal processing, and neural imaging (EEG).
